“I started the company and bought the franchise in April 2016, I’d been working in the city for 30 years and some personal circumstances made me think I had to move out of the city and work locally. I didn’t want to work for anyone else as I always felt I had an entrepreneurial spirit within me but never really had an opportunity to do anything about it, until it was forced upon me. I had a series of life changing events, my Mum died in the March and very strangely from beyond the grave she actually won £14,000 on the lottery! We found it on her bank statement and managed to track it down to 5 numbers and that gave me a nudge to be able to invest in the franchise that we now have with Not Just Travel. “My Dad, Tony, came over from Italy in 1957, he trained as a barber and a tailor, there wasn’t much going on in Italy, so he came over here and started working in private houses. He worked for the Astor’s and at Scotney as a butler and doing personal grooming etc. Over the years he decided he would set up his own business and in 1982 he bought The Gallery, which was Barnet Fair back then. How has 2024 been for you and the business? Looking back at 2024, it has absolutely flown by! It was an exciting year for me as I was very busy in-clinic, introducing my patients to some wonderful new skin rejuvenation and aesthetics treatments. One of the most rewarding elements of my job is not only being able to offer treatments that subtly and naturally enhance my patients to help improve their confidence and self-esteem, but also really getting to know them and making a meaningful difference to their wellbeing is such a privilege. I hope to build on 2024 and continue the great relationships with my patients in 2025, as well as being at the forefront of the latest aesthetics advancements and skin treatments.
